Lake St. Clair Fishing Is Still Great

Perch: Use shiners along the American side of the shipping channel. Go out from 9 Mile and the GP Yacht Club. The word is anglers are catching boatloads of perch in the 8-13″ range.
Bass: Anglers “can’t miss” (according to Dan) along the shorelines. Slow trolling back 40-50 ft. in 10-12 ft. of water is the ticket now. Use large Emeralds and Rapalas (size 7 and 9).
Canadian Side: Best perch fishing in weeks. Go to the water buoy. Fish are being caught in 9-12 ft. of water. Remember: no live bait from the US into Canada. You will pay dearly if you’re caught!
