Weather Looking Better
Well, last week’s weather was awful. Anglers coming into the store slowed to a trickle as the rain (snow?) and wind kept them off the river and lake and inside the house.
And when they did get out, anglers made the barometric pressure argument – changing barometer, fish are lockjawed. Could it be true? Leave a comment below…

Reminder: Keep your minnow receipts. When buying minnows in Michigan you must keep your receipt. It should have a bait fish certification number and lot number printed on it. You must show your receipt to a DNR officer if asked for it; a fine can result in not having one. This is to try to help with the spread of VHS virus. Remember: You cannot take live minnows into Canada. Dead ones are OK though.
