Huge Lake Trout Taken Through The Ice (Video)
Hey guys. Could you please be a bit careful on the ice this weekend. We heard rumors of someone falling through the ice earlier in the week. And Captain Dan said someone spoiled the ice by running his machine all over an access point and wrecking everything for everyone else.
Since the fishing appears to be about like last week, all we can say is go to Gino’s have fun and come back safe and sound. Use wax worms and mousies and Reilly’s perch rigs.
Here’s a video that you may have seen. Bob from Bloomfield Hills is a sportsman but hasn’t been able to get out on the ice much this winter due to his job. So he was surfing the Internet and found this video and sent it our way. Probably somewhere in Canada, eh? We hope you enjoy it.

I like the vidieos of course, but I subscribed to a weekly fising report. I have yet to get a good report on where the fish are or what to use to catch them. I’m not dissapionted with the site but it would be nice to have some advice on where to go and how to get the fish seeing that I live in the flint area and don’t get there as often as I like.

Jim: Thanks for your comment. Sometimes it’s tough to post new content during the ice fishing months since it seems the best fishing is in all the same spots – except for those spots anglers keep secret. As ice fishermen we are limited by the ice to only the shoreline areas. I will do my best to make this a great fishing report site when the open water season is back on. I hope you will constantly comment and leave suggestions as to how we can improve the site.

Hey. Lev. Thanks for the response, I appriciate al you guys are doing for the out of towners. I found the report on the pike and the marble eyes more informitive than some of the others that have ben posted. I know how it is for the hard water people do not want to give up their spots on where the fish are. I look forward to getting there and getting some of those monsters. Hope to see you guys soon if I get down there!!
