Expert Tips – Ice Fishing For Walleyes
First, a brief fishing report for the week of January 11, 2010 – Best locations for ice fishing right now are the Spillway, Metro Beach, and near Gino’s Surf. All are fishing really good for perch in shallow waters.
Anglers who get out early in the morning are getting the best results. As soon as the crowds get big, go home.
Best live baits are wigglers, wax worms, and spikes. Come on into the shop. We’ve got them all.
Seminar! This Saturday, January 16 at 5:00, Lakeside Fishing Shop will host a special seminar on ice fishing for walleyes in the Saginaw Bay. The seminar will be conducted by Captain Joe Raymer. Captain Joe has over 20-years of ice fishing experience. His favorite target is walleyes on the ice.
